Request Maintenance Service (RVA)

Emergency or urgent issues: Please call the RVA Pager at (713) 376-1989 immediately.

  • Urgent requests include: broken A/C, water leaks, power outages, or any issue posing an immediate safety or operational risk.

How to Submit a Maintenance Request in Tririga

  1. Go to the Tririga maintenance portal: https://rice.tririga.com/
  2. Log in using your Rice NetID and password.
  3. When prompted, allow Tririga to access your location by selecting “Allow while visiting this site.”
  4. Tririga should automatically detect your location as Rice Village Apartments.
    If not, click Change Location and search for Rice Village Apartments.
  5. Click Request Service and complete the required fields.

Required Fields

  • Who is this request for? Select Me.
  • Where is the problem?
    Location: Rice Village Apartments
    Floor: Select 1, 2, 3, or 4
    Room: Enter the appropriate room number (e.g., 1101).
    For bedrooms or bathrooms, enter the unit number and letter (e.g., 1101A).
  • Problem Category (Required): Select Graduate Housing.
    Important: If you do not select this category, your request may not be processed correctly.
  • Problem Type (Required): Choose the option that best describes your request.
  • Description (Required): Provide a clear description of the issue.

Comments and Photos (Optional)

You may attach photos to support your request. After uploading, click the “Post” button to ensure the image is included. If you do not click “Post,” the photo will not be attached to the work order.

Once all required fields are complete, click Submit. You can log in to Tririga anytime to check the status of your request.

If you have submitted multiple requests, click “Show More” to expand and view all entries.

Please Remember the Following

  • Maintenance staff will assess the issue within a week and resolve it as soon as possible.
  • Maintenance hours are Monday–Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (excluding holidays).
  • You must submit a work order to prevent further damage to your unit. Damages caused by negligence will result in fees. Please refer to your Charge List Addendum for details.
  • Work orders are at no charge unless damage is due to negligence.
  • You do not need to be present when maintenance enters your unit to inspect or repair the issue specified in your work order.
