Dining Options
On-campus dining is available at a number of serveries throughout campus. Group dining can be arranged as well as full-catered meals, picnics, sack lunches, and barbeques.
If group dining is not arranged, participants will be given the opportunity to purchase meal credits at their group’s check-in. These credits can be loaded onto a meal card and are accepted at numerous locations around campus.
Purchasing a Meal Card
You may pre-purchase a meal card either through our online order form at https://signup.rice.edu/mealcards/ or at the Conference Housing office on-campus.
Meal Card Option #1 – Dining Servery
South Servery opens Saturday, May 28
West Servery opens Monday, June 13
The Servery is open daily during the summer and has a buffet-style service. You will find a variety of dining choices including fruit, salad and sandwich bars, multiple hot food entrees, daily options for vegetarians, pizza (at lunchtime), a grill, desserts, and more! The Servery is open during the following times:
- Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Meal Card Option #2 – Retail Dining

Curbside at the Club Curbside at the Club brings together the delicious, award-wining culinary talents of Rice University chefs with convenient, to-go ready meals for members of the Rice Community. Curbside pick-up is available at the Faculty Club at the Cohen House for drive up (golf cart or car), bike up and walk up.
Little Kitchen HTX Little Kitchen HTX is a family-owned local business. They feature local ingredients from vendors like Houston Dairymaids, 44 farms, Animal Farm, PlantIt Forward Farms, Honey Child Sweet Creams, just to name a few, some of which participate in our weekly farmers market.
